It's 3-d bell puzle, or you get a bug. In 2 bell puzles in our run, there was a sound.
I mean this one:

And have you find something?
Ok thx for the feedback.
I looked through their VoD but I only see the boss room. (which they didn't solve, they just started the boss fight by shooting the wolf) Which is unrelated to this room. Unless you have a timecode in relation to that VoD and I happened to skip over it.
On top of that the bell that is 2nd from the right has stopped working. It no longer brings up damage numbers or plays a sound when i shoot it and i don't know if my game is bugged or not. I can't seem to reset it by leaving or resting at a checkpoint either.
bells are numbered from left to right, 1 through 5, 5 X 3 3 4 1 2 3 2 1, the X is found in the song book
You can brute force this, however, remember the bells have "health" and will die after shooting them a certain amount of times.
Good luck.
edit: im not being a jerk here, this actually is a seed rng for each world from what i understand. so you need to find the book.
Yup, when i first found this puzzle, i killed the bells.. so it took another few runs to get the rng tile to spawn again so i can have another go at it.. so i feel your pain.
I think that a lack of HP is better. In other words, make the bells invulnerable. It doesn't make sense to me that the bells die, but perhaps there's something I missed (Very possible).
i don't agree, i think giving the bells health is a good mechanic, it doesn't allow for infinite brute forcing in most cases (i mean most of the bell puzzle answers are known now) but given the bells have health, for example, during the Raveger fight, if you mess up or shoot too many times, well your SoL.. and i think that's a good thing (he also breaks the bells.. so lol). It doesn't allow for players to just sit there and shoot things forever, like for the Pan Flute guy, given those bells have 2 melodies to shoot, you have to be careful... one for the ring, one for the trait... and if the bells didn't have health you could just sit there and shoot all day until you got it.. but given they do, well.. there in lies the challenge, if you kill a bell, have to wait for the next run.
You can already brute force the bells by resetting them with the travel crystal nearby if you have the knowledge that they can die. In other words, if you reset at the travel crystal before you kill off any bell, to my knowledge, their health is restored.
I just think that bells dying serves as a trap for newer players because they won't know that a bell can die (It seems rather silly, no?) and then they'll be left flustered wondering what occurred when the bell is no longer functioning as there was never any indication that the bells would just "die" artificially.
In fact, I'm pretty sure bells dying is due to a bug. I don't really think the developers intended for those puzzles to be all that serious. That's just my take on it, in any case. With that being said, moving forward any changes to the bells doesn't really affect me given that I already know the puzzles by heart and I've already gotten everything the bells have to offer.
This is just me looking out for newer players is all. Players like MofineBovine who may feel that they've been robbed of a moment or event simply because they did not have prior knowledge (And I don't blame them, honestly). Again, just my two cents.
