How to kill Gorefist, some tips on how to kill him in 2 min or less

I think most new players will die a few times just because of how the fight is designed. you need to grind or just to learn the layout and how to move around the exploders

1) Upgrade armor a lot, upgrade the chest piece 2 times and then upgrade the rest, the chest piece needs a lot of iron for the next upgrades so spread the upgrades

2) Upgrade your main damage gun

3) Bring a potion to heal the root rot, the guy with the terminator leg sells a lot of potions, it's the black potion. you can drink it before you enter the fight to get the 30% resistance to root

4)The boss extends his arm when attacking and the attacks go thru some stairs/furniture so time your dodges.

5) When he goes into the rage mode he does more damage and combo attacks, avoid those and you can even shoot him when he does the combos

6) Attack boss, kill minions, run away and wait for the mushroom exploders and kill them, then engage the boss. Drink a health regen potion if you are taking damage or use the healing skill on your gun if you have it.

At no point did i insinuate or promote "git gud", To call me a troll is laughable. If you played this on hardest you will know how tanky Gorefist is. Only reason i watched the video was to see if anyone has discovered his weakpoint for larger damage hits. I know he has a mask protecting his face, as well as numerous scraps of armored areas so its best to just aim mid torso. Perhaps the mask can be broken with enough damage though? Although i havnt been able to when i fought him.

When i called out the difficulty being on normal it was only an observation because of how little damage he took when running through the explosion and getting kncoked back, and how much a chunk of hp he was taking off the boss hp bar with every shot.

Yeah, was normal, the game does such a poor job at explaining what campaign you are playing and what difficulty, the grind is real in this game:) another problem is that the grind is not consistent, someties i would get almost nothing in the sewers and other times 3 elites wich droped a lot more stuff

For someone so innocent you got pretty defensive. Don't sit there and pretend like you were not being a troll and telling him to get good. I was playing through on the hard and had + 5 armor and that boss barely chipped my health with his attacks. So yeah.


That being said. I don't work here and I can say whatever I want, but that's pretty funny that you're trying to take some sort of moral high ground and act like you're better than me or something. For someone that's not a troll you're really going out of your way to dig in my profile and start petty arguments. I'm a customer for the game the same as you and anyone else, where I work outside of that is irrelevant.

In actuality i was stating it was done on normal so people coming to the discussion will know what difficulty it was and assuming it will work on harder difficulties. Im not trying to be innocent or defensive if anything you are being the defensive one. honestly he was the hardest boss so far out of the 6 or so ive done. the game starts to even out a lot after him. heres my tips:

die a lot first to lean timing.

stay downstairs in the open area

dodge to your right when he swings. run away when he charges up

as for the exploding upside down nutsacks (now that's all you'll see haha), prioritize dodging them so they explode right after you dodge. theres only usually two at a time. it takes too long to pull out the gun and shoot them.

that's really it. it will take you a few tries. i was at +4 guns and armor when i did it.
