There's no weapon drop if I'm not mistaken, its only crafting items. Which then can be used to upgrade your weapons and install mods.

Wtf, already!? As far as i know the bosses dont drop weapons, but a material to craft them. I just crafted a hammer from an item dropped by the Ent ( you must destroy its legs).

As far as I know there are no random weapon drops in the game. There's only hand-placed weapons you can find in pre-determined, slightly hidden locations, as well as weapons you get as quest rewards or can craft from boss materials.

I'd also be interested in your playtime, because this seems pretty fast!

I've found weapons but no weapon drops - opening chest is very boring its just scraps they need to up the loot drops big time

also im assuming you've been cooping with friends to beat it at that astronomical speed

Im pretty sure weapons don't drop. Weapon and armor you find out in the world (purple light). There's an SMG you can unlock in Ward 13 right after entering the first world. Theres a Magnum you can get here as well (not sure of unlock requirements) as well as a Sniper rifle right after the church.

Won't tell you where exactly but they are there. You just have to explore around. As for unique weapons and such you have to craft via boss materials that you get based on different parts you destroyed of the boss. Also other mini bosses can drop mats to craft mods. Mods affect the way your gun looks (not a ton of variety but still pretty cool).
