boring game, terrible bland maps...
im trying for a refund, game feels very generic, nothing like a souls game, the city map looks all the same it's very uninspired, boring and very empty of any decorations...

Very low enemy variety, combat is okayish, the UI design looks lame for most menu...id dint take a liking to the story or any of the characters presented to me, they are simply not likeable, this game might feel better in coop but solo experience i found myself just pushing through the game with very little enjoyment trying to justify the purchase, up to the point the game crashed, and my profile became corrupt at which point i lost all my progress and the game cant get past the initial screen, for which i'm glad, because a game that can't run can be refunded and i went very little time over the 2hours.

Weird my review would be the complete opposite. This is one of the best games. I have nearly every game on Steam, Ubi, and various other clients and this game is quite refreshing for me from what I'm used to playing. I don't compare it to dark souls at all. It's got difficult sections but it's definitely it's own game. I'm also playing co-op so it feels like I am seeing more enemies than some solo playthroughs I've seen on youtube. Enemy variety seems good and tied to the area you're fighting in which makes sense and there's a ton of things to fight. In a game like Warframe you literally fight the same three factions (since 2013) and now and then they have added in new enemy types. Also the randomized tile generation in some areas does get repetitive like Warframe which also uses randomly generated tilesets but I think the devs of this game can add more tileset variation like that game did in the future. This game crushes all my expectations for a game developed by a small team and has the key experience I was looking for which is fun. I didn't want a total Dark Souls copy and I'm happy it's not. Games can be difficult and have parallels without being labeled Souls like in my opinion.

The game is using best mechanics from DS but its also dynamic coop shooter

Yeah, completely disagree. There's tons of different enemies, and as you progress you visit all sorts of visually distinct locations.

I've watched a fair portion of this on angry joe's channel and delrith seemed like he had fun, at first. When he got near the end of the game, he kind of just sounded like he just wanted to beat it at that point. The story seemed to cap out at around 9-10 hours and the combat looked very similar to a game I bought sometime ago. The game's name is immortal unchained. Was dubbed in the community as gun souls and while not as crisp and pretty to look at? It was essentially the same thing.

Go into area, clear area, kill boss, get weapons/skill and repeat. You could swap between melee and ranged at will and yada yada. As a co-op game it doesn't look bad, but it also doesn't look like it is worth the 40 dollar price tag, just some thoughts!

"nothing like a souls game"

maybe thats because its not a souls game?

OP is right tho, everything within a tileset looks the same. Also the levels are quite linear so far. Loot is boring and always scrap or iron unless it glows purple. Because purple glow = item like a necklace or a gun.

Everything else is just scrap or iron? lul? no incentive to look around much.

You own 30,000+ games?!? If so, don't hide your game count . . . wear that proudly! You have earned it!

It's strange - but fun when you are playing not alone. First impression - refound, forced my self to play at least 1 hour - and it's became intresting and.

issue with enemy variety is that the maps seems to feature two regular enemies and then a few select elites per maps. I can already tell that replaying the levels will mostly be the same mix even if the spawn and map layout aren't the same on rerolls, the mix of enemies and at which point you encounter them will be the same. So ultimately it ends up being kinda repetitive despise what seems to be a pretty decent roster of enemies for once.
Fun game so far still.

Forget Souls Like! I get a slight DS vibe sure, but it also kind of reminds me of Fallout and the Metro Series.

I love it. It's s good "muck around" looter/shooter. I love the enemy designs too, especially the little round, fat dudes.

BUT hey, if it doesn't click with you, then it doesn't click. Not every game is for everyone. Refund it and get something you'll enjoy.

one thing i really dislike is on the stream the guy was saying its all randomly generated and itll be different for you and the bosses wont be the same, ive run into the same boss 12 times for the same loot and the different map is literally just the map i had but in reverse -_- i kinda assumed it would be too good to be true with what all he was saying and something about if you kill the boss differently you can get a different item which seems to not be true at all, i enjoy the game, but a lot of the stuff he said on the stream isnt really true. Tbh thou sadly idk if ill play it anymore after i beat the final boss because there is not really much randomization at all. At least there isnt a max level on how many trait points you get, u just farm those till every trait is max 20.

sorry to say but you are way way way far from owning even a 10th of the games on steam ...

This is what I would classify as a "call for attention".
