Do you have to beat the game to experience the Corsus DLC?

A friend and I played this game, had a blast, got to the final boss, ended up just quitting because the boss fight was such a slag. So we never beat the game. If we were to reroll new characters, would we get to see any of the DLC content? Or would we essentially be playing through vanilla Remnant until after the base final boss, then onto the DLC?

Among other things, DLC offers a new world for the Adventure mode and an entirely new Game mode. It doesn't offer anything affecting the main campaign story.

You dont have to beat it. You get a very nice trait from beating it however. The final boss is not hard at all, you kill mobs in the dream world to get a stacking damage buff, then you shoot the boss in the chest where the dreaming child is located. The chest will open and you will do massive damage by shooting it. On normal it should be killable in under 5 minutes even as a new player.

The corsus adventure mode adds 2 new dungeons, bosses and a very difficulty extra boss, by far harder than the dreamer.

They did add some free new stuff to corsus tho im pretty sure.

Just corsus with few new bosses and dungeons and some old stuff.

U can dive into dlc (corsus adventure) whenever. Its just swamps with some new stuff. Last voss is probably easiest boss after gorefist. Heck even gorefist is harder if one of boom rot balls sbeaks up on u or he hits u through wall twice. Just kill two dozen root. Exit portal some time after gorefist appears. Shoot lot of bullets into boss. When he opens his chest shoot the kid (possibly into the head). Repeat once or twice. Drink rot potion for less dot in the void and maybe bloodworth to negate dot even more. Use dragon heart or two if u need to. U get a rly good trait from him. A ♥♥♥♥ weapon (all close distance guns sprta suck on above hard difficulties) and an item which reset ur traits so u can place em differently (and morgan freeman merchant will sell that respect item as well from now on).
