Armor dyes?

So I see some people with different armor colors.

How do I change the ccolor of my armor then?

Its part of the new dlc. You find new materials that you trade with the new merchant in ward 13

Okay. I ahve the DLC. However I cant talk to the new merchant. Why?

Make sure you got the right merchant - same room as Reggie and Ash, fellow in a bandit gasmask to the right of the entrance - then make sure it's not his interaction distance being a bit screwy. For me, interact only seems to pop up a step or so back from him and moving a little to the left instead of trying to talk face on.

Nah I think I fugred it out. I need to "activate" the DLC by getting infected.

Trying to fight the mosnter that infects me though.

You don't need to get infected to activate the merchant. You need to play enough of the story until you are able to talk to all the merchants, then you exchange glowing fragments for armor skins (drop in survival and bosses).

He mute but still has kind of "activation period" where other NPCs usually say something. Try to stay in front of him for a few seconds and the talking prompt should show up.
