The studio that made the game is gunfire games and are the ones who made darksiders 2 and 3
My system has about the recommended settings beside the processor, which is below. Runs pretty good on max settings. Only some minor issues when you first load into level where the game stutters a bit until all assets are loaded.
My rig:
RTX 2060 Super
Ryzen 5 2600X
16GB RAM
installed on SSD
I have constant around 70 fps without any drops.
This is one of the best optimized games for me.
♥♥♥♥ pc , works fine for me and many others
But sadly, the optimization is horrible.
What sortof setup do you have? We've been working on more optimizations, and any information you could provide would be helpful.
RTX 2080 (MXM)
Intel i9 9900k
32GB DDR4 RAM
installed on 2xSSD in RAID0
I get 112-115fps at 1080p, 60 fps stable at 1440p max settings, 56 fps on 1800p, and around 45 fps at 2160p. Nvidia's drivers havent been playing nice for me lately since the DX12 Ultimate update.
Processor: AMD A6-6400K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
Memory: 8 GB DDR3 RAM
Graphics: integrated (Radeon HD 8470D)
Lowest settings and tweaked window resolution at 800x600 fps isn't very stable when I'm not on a dungeon or when I fought the dragon boss. I was still able to play the game up to the end and reroll through the campaign just to get the missing weapons and items
Current PC
Same except:
Graphics: GT 730 1gb DDR5
Can play full screen and medium texture. Didn't have much problem in the fps but there are some small hiccups here and there.
Compare that to some other recent games like Doom Eternal or Resident Evil 3 both of which run on Ultra for me with 80-140 fps because they both got two very well optimized engines powering them while Unreal Engine 4 which Remnant uses has proven in this generation that optimization on that engine is utter ar*e often.
Are you working to bring DX12 ot Vulcan to this game? Is annoying that it doesn't utilize CPU resources very well.
Aside of that, not the worst optimized game, not the best neither.
