How is the performance of this game
I see that this game is A perfect World's and china game companies tend to have the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ programmed games with performance issues no matter how good your computer is. Does this game have those issues?

Perfect World is the publisher.

The studio that made the game is gunfire games and are the ones who made darksiders 2 and 3

Perfect World is only the publisher and the Gunfire Games team appears to be located in the US, that might be the reason it runs rather well.

My system has about the recommended settings beside the processor, which is below. Runs pretty good on max settings. Only some minor issues when you first load into level where the game stutters a bit until all assets are loaded.

I run the game completely fine on ultra, if your PC is bad. You're not going to maximise performance etc. It would help if you put your specs in and people could give you more detail whether or not they think you'll be able to run it. The fact your asking this I'm assuming you're on edge of your specs? Correct me if I'm wrong :) But the game runs good, and looks good aswel.

The game runs perfectly smooth on ultra settings (1080p).

My rig:

RTX 2060 Super
Ryzen 5 2600X
16GB RAM
installed on SSD

I have constant around 70 fps without any drops.

This is one of the best optimized games for me.

worst running souls game in my library - barely works on lowest settings

You should be playing at 1440p with that setup

But sadly, the optimization is horrible.

What sortof setup do you have? We've been working on more optimizations, and any information you could provide would be helpful.
My rig:

RTX 2080 (MXM)
Intel i9 9900k
32GB DDR4 RAM
installed on 2xSSD in RAID0

I get 112-115fps at 1080p, 60 fps stable at 1440p max settings, 56 fps on 1800p, and around 45 fps at 2160p. Nvidia's drivers havent been playing nice for me lately since the DX12 Ultimate update.

PC Spec when I first played and bought the game on the first week:
Processor: AMD A6-6400K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
Memory: 8 GB DDR3 RAM
Graphics: integrated (Radeon HD 8470D)

Lowest settings and tweaked window resolution at 800x600 fps isn't very stable when I'm not on a dungeon or when I fought the dragon boss. I was still able to play the game up to the end and reroll through the campaign just to get the missing weapons and items

Current PC
Same except:
Graphics: GT 730 1gb DDR5

Can play full screen and medium texture. Didn't have much problem in the fps but there are some small hiccups here and there.

It's not that well optimized, even with shadows set to medium it can drop to low 40s frequently in some scenes and with them set to high it drops to 30 fps even in some scenes. Other settings do almost nothing for the FPS really for me, can keep the rest all on Ultra or High with little to no difference versus medium or low but shadows get a huge impact on performance, low-medium-high , each step up loses about 10 to 20 fps and low is not really an option unless you're willing to sacrifice all shadows in the game. Overall it runs between 40 to 100 fps for me, usually manages to hold around 60 but some areas are worse then others, swamp being the most demanding where holding 60 is kinda impossible.

Compare that to some other recent games like Doom Eternal or Resident Evil 3 both of which run on Ultra for me with 80-140 fps because they both got two very well optimized engines powering them while Unreal Engine 4 which Remnant uses has proven in this generation that optimization on that engine is utter ar*e often.

It has its rough parts, more specifically with shadows. There's a dungeon in Rhom where you find a seemingly small village inside a chasm that should theoretically run well (small place equals less to render, right?), except that the performance is horrible and tied to the shadows, with low to medium being a massive drop in that area. It happens with other parts of Rhom, but with a bit less intensity. Some areas can be really unoptimized.
Adeptguy May 6, 2020 @ 7:45am
I suggest putting anything shadows related to low as possible, a massive FPS gain. I used to not lag THAT much in any planet untill I entered the last jungle planet Yeasha something like that. Lowering the shadows helped though. The difference is minor. At least, if you care about having good fps over graphics :)

It's worthy of mention that the game looks very decent on the lowest graphics too. It runs ok on a gtx 960m and i5 4210h. Only issue I have is sometimes coop causes massive fps drops.

Are you working to bring DX12 ot Vulcan to this game? Is annoying that it doesn't utilize CPU resources very well.

Aside of that, not the worst optimized game, not the best neither.
