Can it occur in adventure mode or is it confined to the campaign?
It's a mixture. I've mainly been running Normal to speed up search efforts. However I typically play Nightmare and some of the farming was done on that difficulty. Also the new Earth ring I found when trying out Apocalyptic. That was the first thing I did on release :)
If you have Concentration (which you didn't call out) then you have what you need to get Blood Bond. For Fortification investigate the Fetid Pools.
It worked in adventure mode, but like I said, it's very specific and if stars aren't aligned you won't get the option to do this specific side quest.
Thanks for the info. Always useful to know if its even possible. At the moment I suspect I likely have almost all of the new non survival items. Hence the list I just want to know if there's more left to find. If not I'll be throwing myself into Survival.
I think the next order of business is to get the hut item. Then I'm going to do a bunch of Yaesha adventures. I did a single Earth on Apocalyptic as my first dlc action and got a new ring. I just did my first dlc Rhom adventure, found a new tile set and another new ring inside. This leads me to believe that Yaesha will have something too. So I'm missing at least two items.
Thanks for the instructions. After Mar'Gosh I probably should have thought of this. Although at this point I'm burnt out on Corsus. I've also got PTSD about the Queen :)
To be fair the Queen isn't that bad now. I'll check this out tomorrow assuming I can get both in adventure mode.
That part I worked out since crouching is used several times in the dlc. It was clear I needed an item to use on the pot. I assumed it was poison which probably should have lead me to the Queen. But I never put that together. Between the Queens key item and the alternate kill I guess I assumed that was everything. In fact I was half convinced it was a campaign only event.
The Queen felt completely over tuned the first time round. Now I'm finding it more manageable. However the standard kill is still the hardest boss in the game imo. However luckily the alternate kill is both easier and much faster than the standard :)
It's also incredibly satisfying...
