How to play multiplayer HARDCORE
I just started my first hardcore world but I am only able to select to play Offline or With friends, is there a way to make my game public or to join other hardcore players?

Hardcore is offline/friends only.
Probably because friendly fire is a thing, and people could be joining other's their sessions just to grief.
