Where do I find Twisted Mask Mechant/Junk Town/"the city"

I like to get the mask for the tree.

According to https://remnantfromtheashes.wiki.fextralife.com/Twisted+Mask+Merchant the previous area is "The City" so where is that supposed to be?

I have:

Hideout
Settlement
Westcourt
Wailing wood
Church

This is the same for all players?

Where should I look? Is this random? I just found the assault rifle and a ring in westcourt so I think I got hat searched for everything.

I think I actually talked to him at some point in coop. Is he sitting on the ground? I probably not have exhaused his dialog.

He's located in a sewer, down a manhole. He'll be standing behind a table in the first room past the entrance. You may not get him in your game, as everybody's world is randomly generated.

I never met him, but in one of my adventure mode runs a large root/vine entangled a construction crane. After clearing the encounter i could buy the full set from the remaining forge.

What about the tree in my game? I had a dude telling me about the mask in coop and then he went to the tree and talked about trying it, he thought I might get XP or the trait. But I think I got nothing at all. I saw him getting grabbed by the tree. I can either get The Idol or Bark Skin Trait but how to I get the idol? Just attack the tree? Because in my world I think there is no merchat for the mask I guess I should get the idol from the tree.

I found more info in other threads and already rolled adventure mode and did not find it there again. This means I played normal, hard and adventure in earth (on normal I more or less rushed it)

"The City" is actually the place you start in when you start adventure mode. There is no teleporter that is called that. Can I see the location name of there I am currently at somewhere?

I actually ended up killed hte tree for the idol and rerolling adventure mode for earth serveral times, I can stand earth anymore. I found all kinds of things I missed, discovered new bosses and that armor BUT still no mask,

https://hzla.github.io/Remnant-World-Analyzer/ found this in another thread. So far it never showed junk town. I am really getting sick of this. I am also not sure if this tool just shows it up just when start in "the city"

Junk town is a random spawn. May have it in your campaign, may not. It can spawn in Adventure mode though if you don't want to reroll your campaign.

Correct. The crane event gets you the Twisted Hood, which is not the same as the Twisted Mask. The tree will not recognize you if you wear the hood.

I am so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sick of exploring earth FFS the game has not even a mechnism to track where you were?

I keep doing into dungeons I already were. Now I not even get the normal progess, some idiot in my coop just decided to kill the tree even though I did not want to and I get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tree in every game, this time right at the start but NEVER ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ junk town. I just read someone had it on westpoint or what its called. Does somebody have him, can I just join their game. FFS this game is addicting but can be SOOOO annoying.

I have "City" and "Wailing Wood" as travel points now and I am supposed to find the church now but I already explored all the maps so WTF am I supposed to do now, because I did not put down pen and paper and wrote down where what dungens were and what dungeons were dead end or and finished I can now run hours arround??? AGAIN? ♥♥♥♥ this.

Well that's just poor design if they put two items in that look and sound basically the same, when everything else is very distinct.

They not at all look the same, its a cheap excuse because you made the wrong assuption. And Hood and Mask are completely different worlds. I would reather see someone actually helping instead of making wrong claims and meaningless comments on corrections.

There is more to earth then one area and the tree boss or not? I have like 4 travel points on story. But in adventure mode I always get stuck, after the tree boss and money key are dead ends, the lab enters one point and leaves the other. So WTF am I supposed to do now?

They have the same description, and are part of the same armour set, obtained on the same world. Unless you actually have both of them, its a fair assumption they are the same thing and not worth pursuing further.

The map looks fully explored to me. Earth adventures typically contain 2 dungeons, the world boss and one random encounter somewhere. Reroll and try again.
