Nightmare difficulty First run
I Hope i'm doing the thread correctly, actually First Time i "Need" to ask something about a game... Well i'm in my very frist blind run of the game, started on Nightmare cause Is what i do with every game, but... I didnt knew It was so freaking hard, somehow i managed to be fine with mobs, but i Just defeated a boss that moltiplicate itself to 8 in the end, and It has been One of the most difficulty things i've ever done in my Life. I did It with equip lvl 5. Will i be able to actually finish the game..? (I'm playing alone)

I know i can reroll It, i searched in the duscussions and for what i've seen like no One started their First run at Nightmare. I don't want It ti be Easy or whatever, i am willing to finish It at Nightmare, i Just didnt find anything that tells me if It Is actually possible

It’s possible and its all about patience and skills. Game is scalling with your gear score and always above it at +1. At Nightmare bosses have more HP and doing more damage, but all of them are still possible to kill if you skilled enough and learn timings/movements.
If you want to torture yourself, have "fun". From what I know the game is hard normal if you start out and then rerol on hard when you finished it once. I do not know how it scales nightmare but when equip rank but you have no traits and nothing. Have you searched youtube? I am sure some crazy people do this.

Unless someone knows differently, my understanding is that the enemy scaling is based upon your highest upgraded gear. So if you want to keep the scaling from getting out of control, try to keep all your upgrades around the same level.

Ty very much guys, that's really helpfull. I had to get every thing i was using +5 to beat that damned boss, but since then everything Is alright. The dragon was way easier, took me Just 5-6 try. So i'll keep in mind to upgrade my equip all to the same point from now on~

I'M not searching anything on YouTube, i don't like making myself spoilers to anything and as i said i like it to be as difficult as It can be.

You will not be able to complete the nightmare run if you just started playing the game, you need a lot of the trait perks and such to help with damage reductions and such! thats why it says recommended for high level players ... there is 650 trait points you can have ... nightmare becomes a little easier over 300

francy I dont think he will be able to tackle the bridge bosses solo ... they take way to long to take down
Lol. I started on hard because I saw that Nightmare was a 300% increase in damage/hp compared to hard which is 50%. I also contemplated just starting off with Hardcore mode, but figured I'd save it for replay value.

That is totally ridiculous, apart from the fact that this game does not really have a big story it tells, all you would see is someone starting out watching the same cutscenes that are also non existent or just show a boss. The real decision (I know only one) comes later, everything else is half random, half fixed. The first boss is fixed so if you would search correctly you would possibly see someone create a char and beat the first boss, this way you could see if someone did it. So until that point the "spoilers" would be to see a boss appear.

All I know is some "I am so great and cool I started on nightmare" dude ended up re rolling. I have the feeling its extremely unfair. Not like Dark Souls where you actually can study and practice for bosses. In this game its completely different. Crazy RNG and just mobs send at you. I can not imagine how that would be fun.

Is the equip rank generated on you highest piece? Of so then yes you should actually have all at the same rank. But I also read that you should keep it as low as possible and only upgrade if you have to. I not sure what "have to" refers to but you find already upgraded weapons so if you want to use them maybe they ment that or the game actually forces your to upgrade at some point. My guess is not but it sounded like upgrading actually works against you so the enemies become stronger but your gear is not that much better when upgraded. One person said that on some tips for the game on nightmare, I read it here or somewhere else.

False. You can finish nightmare with fresh character. All you need is good aim and knowledge of boss paths/attacks + timings.

I Just don't want ti Watch videos, it's extremetely Easy seeing something you don't want to see, expecially if u don't really know what are you searching, i don't want to spoil amy boss or enemy in general, that's how i play and i like it. Also i find the background story really good, i am literally Reading everything i find and i love the world in general.

Said so, i've died pretty much in the First 10 ours, i ended up having pretty much money and treat points i guess. I am at rhom and i have 60 trait points, had some problem with the strongest mob there, but got the First dungeon at First try even counting the "boss fight". But yeah, i think bosses could be a problem since then game Is not all that good balanced, in the worst case i'll search for online help, i've gone too far to give up now eheh
