I'm sorry, but screw the dev who designed this trash.

I've spent over 50 resets trying to get this damn quest to pop up because I failed it the first time. When I finally get it again the stupid AI friendly kills herself on the root poison aoe because they're too stupid to actually not stand in bad crap.

What an awful quest, and a massive waste of time. I only have one weapon left to get and I can't get it because of bad programming.

After over 100hrs it poped up for the first time during a Hardcore solo run. I could hear the 2 NPC, but since it was a Hardcore run I just stayed in my corner outside the buildings and did my best to survive. I didn't even see them until after the fight and they both survived.

I assumed I was super lucky, but I have read that if you don`t get close to them during the fight their health bar won't spawn or something and they will not die.

Assuming you are not on hardcore you can just die and try again.

i got that my first playthrough and glitched my way into the room. problem solved.

stay at the beginning from the fog and fight there, no problem with this.
do not got to liz of the fight is not done

i have nearly 60h in the game, which might not seem a lot, but ive done over 30 resets for liz and i never got it once.

Another method to complete this is to make sure you make the enemies aggro on you. Do not let them go after the girls, and hope one of them does not get stupid and try to get up close and personal with some monster. Especially the AOE root mist ones.

A locked door glitch that got patched around when adventure mode was added.
