Hey
Small question, how do characters work in this game ? is it like a solo game and if i uninstall the game and delete data, i'll lose my save + character
Or is it online so no matter where i log in, i'll always have my characters ?

Im quite doubtful about this after seeing people losing character after reset the game

I could be wrong but I think this is right.

I bought a new computer and had to reinstall all the games. For this one, Remnant I believe I did not get my old toons back. I had to start a new game so all the save folders were created, and load up a back up save with all my toons.

You should always back up your saves anyway.

You can also tell steam to back up files to specific paths as well. Or just go into your game file and copy paste the save files somewhere else once you delete it.

Yeaah true but still, i think i'll pass on this game, i hoped the progression was saved server side, so if i log on another computer, i can continue to play as i wish
but it seems to be local progression so not for me
