Remnant: From the Ashes

Statistiche:
What loadout the best for the last boss?
So I once hit the final boss but my build was ways too focused on sniping which just not works that well for it. I can live through but I can't meet the "dps check" with it and it consumes too many resources to upkeep for an hours long fight without stragger it to open the weakpoint.
So the question would be which loadout and traits you would suggest for the second phase? I rerolled to grind up for upgrading different weapons before facing the thing again - advice would be welcomed!
Thanks in advance :)

Ruin feels almost essential for the last boss if you are doing it solo. I had the Twisted armor (the health regen one) and health regen ring. So i could stay in the shadow realm for awhile. I would just farm the shadow realm with health regen drinks till you die rez and then run out. Repeat. You need to come with lots of regen drinks and ammo crates.

Not at all. Ruin is so incredibly overhyped just because people are bad and Ruin allows you to continue to play bad because it revives you.

Solo is easier than coop.

Get a gun that's good at long range. Beam rifle is king here, but any gun with good rate of fire will do. Equip said rifle with hotshot, if you have it. The ticks from the burn also get multiplied.

Get around 10 or so stacks, it's enough. Then go manually out of the portal then completely nuke the boss with your assault rifle.

This dude is correct.
Beam rifle and SMG melt him. High fire rate is where its at since its flat damage added to each bullet. Swarm is amazing here as well since it hits constantly.

Thank you!
I would never guess the beam rifle can function so well in here. I will make sure to up it as I neglected that one ever since obtained. :x
What you guys say about Turrets? Do they get the damage buff too or nah? I just got the swarm mod helping friend's progression as guest but haven't tried it out yet. Mods also get the damage up from the rift kills?
Turrets are meh on this fight.
Swarm is better

Yeah turrets are poor in general. And yes they do.
I did just fine with my Devastator and Spitfire. The big Murderspikes are an absolute treat when you open up the Nightmare and one-shotting the basic Roots in the nightmare realm does help
I use the standart pistole with its crazy dps and offensive traits. swarm for the armor and the adds and top it off with the standart shotgun and turrets for teh adds (if anything comes close or i want more stacks faster in the other realm). Turrets are also great in stacking up more proc power to use more swarm and turrets. For armor i go with 2 drifter parts (still no helmet found) and the heavy helmet that gives more crit chance with crits (forgot the name). I usually do not roll but simply sprint when nessesary then reload and shoot in between.
If you have trubble hitting the weakspots, the beam rifle is great because it make aiming a joke.
I did find running+adrenaline is more effective then rolling. I think my arsenal what was garbage for this fight and required me to use hoard of ammo consumes and so for not that much damage on its HP bar.
The turret+swarm combo for the void sounds a great concept I for sure should try that :0

I was using basic hunter armor set for the weakspot bonus but as it never opened up, was a bit worthless :'D
I don't have the twisted set, it never popped but I do have the Slayer one for bonus damage instead. I usually do not have problem hitting weakspots, especially as I sniped my way through the whole but it just not the set up this boss favors and didnt focus on other firearms beside SMG which all alone was ways too ammo heavy as the only viable weapon I had for the whole fight.

Yeah turrets are poor in general. And yes they do.

Idk about that, I think they allow for some serious cheesing. Everytime they hit an enemy it boosts your mod, allowing you to spam even more turrets. You can literally keep this up as you just walk around doing nothing.

yes but they can't crit. swarm does more damage, isnt stationary and can crit. and swarm cant be killed

Plus swarm tends to hit all the hitboxes on enemies. While turrets struggle to aim down and on some enemies will hit the protected parts(grey damage).

edit: btw I struggled to beat the last boss, tried the beam rifle and swarm and it was a cake walk. So yeah, turrets>swarm.

Also this
I think I mean with turrets they can seriously trivialize fights that use adds, which is almost anything.

But that being said haven't tried or seen swarm yet so maybe it's better.
