Trick to flying scythe-wielding red-glowing invincible enemy (Stalker/Reaper)?
Can't hurt them when they glow red, even tried melee. They will eventually drop the invincibility automatically it seems but it takes a LONG time, long enough that they summon multiple groups of helpers somehow before they drop it even once. That's a whole long time spent just dodging the same couple of attacks over and over waiting to be able to hurt it. Because of that, this Elite enemy takes way longer to kill than any other I've encountered on Earth so far, and wastes a lot of ammo if I try anything besides waiting. Is there some trick to get it to drop the invincibility sooner?

I'm playing solo so if it is some teamwork thing that won't help me.

I normally bait it into a melee attack. Has worked for me every time, it leaves them in an opening, and then you can just burn em down.

If i believe i am talking about the correct enemy, shooting him with multiple shots from a weak weapon uses all of his dodges and tires him to let you shoot normally, if you are talking about the one with two blades that blocks your bullets with his blades then that i only was able to bait his attack to hit him

The red invincibility aura dissipates when it takes enough damage. Just keep shooting it and it will go away pretty fast.

Wrong enemy, that's the walking one and is relatively easy other than the fact that he always spawns behind you (best way is to make him vault over something and shoot him while he's vaulting), I'm talking about the one that flies and can't be hurt even when he's swinging at you.

Oof, my apologies, I was thinking of the wrong one. What the others say does work though.

No trick, just DPS him down eh? Kinda lame, might as well just gave him a bunch more health instead. I guess the little dodgy thing he does when the aura is up looks intimidating though.
