It really depends on your playstyle if you should pick it, if consumption is not problem for you, then you don't need the talent.
Triage 6+ is mostly for powering up 60m health potion, healing armor set, and normal health potion (and healing area skill).
Try going around with plum (60m hp pot), full regen armor, regen ring and hp potion. Fun and easy since pots are dirt cheap.
Hell want to go crazy? All of the above + Leach ring, undying kings scythe and faster/stronger melee attacks and full crit skills.
This is an area that the game misses on IMO. There should be a cap to the number of trait points you can get. It can be a high number like maybe 300 or even 400 but there should be a cap. That would add a small level of RPG to the game. Where you do have to decide about something as to what traits you want to roll with. Instead of just maxing out everything willy nilly.
You forgot the fact that if you have triage at 20, or whatever the heal increase one is, The regen from Bloodwort is stronger then the damage tick when in the other world with mobs on Nightmare.
