Voice chat volume
I am mostly playing public games, because my friends suck and playing solo is boring..

Recent patch added voice chat. I often see on screen when people are kind of talking, but either I hear completely nothing or they are very low.

I tried to reduce various game audio settings, sound volume reduce everything down, including voice chat, lol.

How can I make other people louder?

P.S.: my mic volume is ok for skype, discord, etc. yet I was unable to talk to a single person over 30 attempts.. I guess they don't hear me too.

The voice chat volume in this game is so low it might as well not be used. As far as I'm aware, it's not possible for the user to raise the volume of others when it comes to voice chat in this game (Correct me if I'm wrong). There is no voice chat volume slider or anything of that sort.

So the end result is voice chat was implemented in the game, but ultimately it's not really being used because people can't be heard reasonably speaking so it's kind of a pointless endeavor. Whether or not the developers will continue working on Remnant's voice chat is yet to be determined. We'll see, I suppose.

Yeah, its currently useless. You can't hear what anyone is saying and they can't hear you. There are currently no options to change volume. Very sloppy implementation imo.

I see it as baby steps. First they implemented voice chat prematurely and had it as always on voice chat without push to talk. Then they removed it. Then they added it back but with an option to enable voice activation or have a push to key. Maybe next implementation will have a voice chat volume slider so that it can actually be used...

I get it, but you would think with common sense on how every other game with voice chat works, they would have push to talk and volume from the start.

Common sense isn't so common now a days. Besides, they might be working under time constraints and have bigger priorities as well. We don't have the full picture. With that being said, I would like a voice chat volume slider in the future so that I can actually use voice chat instead of ignoring it.

I'm hoping it gets ironed out on the Adventure Mode patch, which should be somewhat soon. I feel like they're holding back bugfixes and other stuff until that patch.
