Secondaries to accompany the Assault Rifle.

So I have been wondering about what secondary goes best with the Assault Rifle. But since I can't decide I decided to jump on the steam discussion page.
Anyone here have some good suggestions for secondary weapons to use along side the Assault Rifle?

You might want a secondary with high precision like hunting pistol or the magnum or a shotgun secondary like the Defiler. However, you can't go wrong with the repeater pistol, it does good consistent damage and has great accuracy.

Ah yes, I have been running the Hunting pistol and Magnum for a bit now, it is fun. Haven't got the Defiler yet sadly. Repeater pistol is great and all but used it a bit too much. Thanks for the input.

Curse of the jungle is also pretty good, it is my setup with the AR.

Yeah it is pretty damn good alright, Hunting pistol works wonders aswell.
