Opinions on the chicago-typewriter?
I like it, but it feels a little underwhelming on higher difficultys, With bandit armor i can general get about 120 bullets outta a mag, but being that on higher difficultys you never get time to actually "rain" bullets on a target without moving, it seems automatics fall off hard on difficultys other then normal.

It's one of the boss melting weapons, and I've been successfully using it on my Hardcore playthrough. It is effective when on bosses that have timed vulnerable states, or easily kitable ones if you are not playing solo

It’s good. But! You need weakspots. Many mods go well with this weapon.

Pre-nerf Beam Rifle just outclass this gun completely ( assault rifle too actually )

Post-nerf idk

If you wear all the crit stuff and have all the correct traits leveled like weak spot damage, fire rate, better handling, etc, it's a beast of a weapon. Combine it with Radiant armor set, Braided Thorns, Devouring Loop (might not need since it was just nerfed. Might just use Stone of Balance instead), Hunter's Mark, and Song of Swords and you have one of the best builds in the game.

No good for range, only for medium/close range. It's not a bad gun, just not for me

Its good with the bandit set, the ammo proc means your shooting it for way longer than normal

Actually not "nerfed" but changed so it doesn't proc the way it was, which wasn't intended anyway.
