POST-WAR DREAMS is a 2.5D Story-Rich, Side Scrolling Action Game, set in the wasteland of USA, plagued with constant war. Following the collapse of the economy, government, and society, you must brave heavily armed militia, lawless gangs, dangerous streets, desolate buildings and underground bunkers on your quest to escape this post-apocalyptic wasteland alive. The road to a new life is paved with danger, hope and constant reminders of everything that’s been lost.

You will engage in combating the gangs and militia in order to survive and may choose to help other survivors who are full of their own personal misery, hopes and dreams, where everyone is trying to see the next sunrise in this chaotic wasteland.

So much work is under the hood with Post-War Dreams lately. I managed to revamp the whole levels, missions, new save system in the last 2 months. I'll post a totally new version of the demo very soon.

In the meantime, please enjoy this new chapter, visual style still needs tweaking, I'm aware. Hopefully, you'll feel the spirit of the whole game.

The bunker level is going under total revamp, as well as the whole game getting a total make-over for a new, darker and more gritty style.

Total revamp of in-game menus, UI and Hud continues. Here's the latest version of in-game journal... Good thing is full game-pad support is added as well...

Hello;
Just to remind everyone that I'm still working on Post-War Dreams as a solo-developer, although progress is slow but it is steady. Below is a screen from in-game dialogues, a new visual style has been set to mimic the comic-book look.

Lots of other changes and improvements to the game is under the hood, big announcement is coming soon as well as the totally new version of the pre-alpha demo...

While we're digesting and embracing all sorts of feedback regarding Post-War Dreams's pre-alpha demo, our writer Wes Loch has finished the whole first draft of the story. And it is mere 32.327 words. Perhaps it is too much for an 2.5 side-scrolling action game, perhaps not. What we know for sure is that the whole premise is full of interesting characters, plot-twists and wonderful dialogues that spans different layers of emotion, especially for an post-apocalyptic setting.

Hello everyone;
We have updated the pre-alpha demo of Post-War Dreams based on player feedback. Please feel free to send us more bug reports.

Here's the recent changes;

* Fixed idle state animations.
* Added more tutorial text.
* Fixed collision errors in various parts of the level.
* Fixed floating player error in some cases.
* Pistol now has more accuracy and better aiming.
* Updated the tutorial for frontal cover.
* Fixed wrong camera angles happening in certain re-loading check points.
* Re-made the fire animations in main menu.
* Fixed floating text in smaller resolutions.
