Minigun?

Hello, i am trying to unlock the minigun, will it unlock when i gold all weapon or do I need to unlock all gold trophies? In the second case it is probably impossible for me and wish i could unlock the minigun to make the game more accessible

The minigun was designed as pretty much a joke gun, it has infinite ammo and insane destructive power designed to make the difficulty of the game trivial so you do get it by getting all of the gold trophies.

Hi Phuerph,

They are quite old games now, but have you played Metal Gear Solid or Resident Evil 4? If you complete those games, you would get cheat items. For Metal Gear Solid IIRC you could choose between infinite ammo or invisibility, and in RE4 you can get various hugely overpowered infinite ammo weapons.

They render the game trivially easy and are hugely overpowered, but are a fun toy for people who have otherwise completed the game. I wanted the minigun to act that role, as well as to be the "carrot on the stick" to motivate players to try everything the game has to offer for those who would like that.

That being said, I understand accessibility issues. The skill ceiling is extremely high, and some players may never reach it. I did include a cheat code to force unlock the chaingun. It was originally for testing but I figured it would be fun to leave it in. In fact, there are a bunch of other cheats as well.

When you are finished with the game and you are ready to put it down, leave a message on my profile and I'll post you cheat instructions back to your profile on so you can play with the minigun

I will try to get better. Already can feel i made some progress. This game is so cool I want to not be done so fast with it. I spent yesterday entire afternoon trying to defeat the augmented damage mutator on easy but always get my ass kicked by the final boss. I do play seated which I know is not the best for doing some matrix style bullet dodging (but i can still dodge quite a lot by moving even seated) standing long in the same spot hurt my back and legs. The only stuff i can't do is duck.
Anyway great job with this game, i particularly love the graphic style. I can't wait to see what will be your next project 🤩

I've got 130hrs of gameplay, already all steam acheivements and 97% done in gold - only 2 items left to finish (damage amplifier and bow) - they are clearly doable if you know game well enough - this shiny minigun really motivates me to acheive 100% - please don't make minigun easy to get :)

but the gun play is so good i cant stop playing! so id really appreciate it if you could get that minigun cheat-code you mentioned for me, if not then i understand,
i already went into the config file and enabled debug mode in hopes of unlocking it, but it didnt work, i hope that you see this and reply, well until then!

hey, bit late haha, i used the dev mode and the one shot modifier to cheese the boss, (bit of context: dev mode apparently unlocks about 90% of the achievements, and since i need all of them for the minigun i looked on steam for the ones i didnt have, which were the achievements, shish kebab, no u, overzealous, and the boss achievements all of which i had to unlock manually but it was quite easy with dev mode on, then as i said earlier i cheesed the boss with the oneshot modifier on all difficulty's except spicy.) also bug report, for some reason the railgun didnt one shot the first phase of the boss, so try to fix that maybe, anyway thanks for your generosity in replying, huge credit to you because most devs wouldn't even glance at the discussions page, anyway bye!

i understand that each of the phases are one shot but im saying that for some reason the railgun didnt one shot any of his phases, whilst the other guns i used (smg and shotgun) did, i didnt test it with every gun but im not sure why it does that, i didnt miss either, so yeah.
