If you want a chance at seeing the original Zoo Tycoon's rereleased..

Get it trending on as many social media platforms as possible. While I don't believe the chances are very good Microsoft ever spend the resources it would take to get the old games running reliably on modern systems if enough people get behind it they just may consider it. Just keep in mind that the original games are pretty old, the code may be too difficult/expensive to bring up to snuff, and it never had a huge fanbase.

Zoo Tycoon has always been a very niche game in what remains a niche genre. Tycoon games involve a great deal of time investment and aren't the easiest style of game to get into. It's definitely an uphill battle kind of situation.

That said I believe there's always a chance but with there already being a newer series out with the Zoo Tycoon name you may have to contend with Microsoft not wanting to create market confusion and cannibalizing their newer (more profitable-at least at the moment) product.

I've been a huge fan of Zoo Tycoon since the release of the first game way back when. I was active on their forums quite a lot and when they went to Facebook with Zoo Kingdom I was one of its first players. I even became a community manager for Blue Fang for a few months toward the end of Zoo Kingdom's life cycle. I was very sad when Blue Fang closed its doors and wish people could play the original games so many of us fell in love with.

It's not happening dude, the company that made it is defunct and the only way you can get it is through safe sites like myabandonware. Because it's abansonware and hasn't been touched since it died. Just get the game through the site and replace the zoo file so that it's playable without a disk.
