Fix for the game sync and game dont start.do this on your on own risk.
do this on your on own risk.
the file could be found in some other games use this file.
add the file libEGL.dll(1.0.0.1166 version and size 117kb) (another file version may work)
to the Chrono trigger folder.
you should get a error message (cant find the intel graphics)
then the game should start normal.
need to see if this work for other people.

You can technically just create a dummy text file and call it "libEGL.dll" and that will solve the issue, although as in your case you'll get an error message about libEGL.dll not being a proper DLL file on launch before the game window shows up.

For those not wanting an error message at all, here's the libEGL.dll from Next Up Hero which seems to work great in my testing: http://cloud.aemony.se/direct/view.php?s=da133361a9f8da61&/libEGL.zip

I still get the error using the libEGL that Aemony posted, but I wasn't trying on the same version as the Steam version so that could be it - but I can confirm this also fixed the non-starting game for me, great job MorkMikael !

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I've been trying to get this thing to launch for months! I used the .dll that Aemony linked to and placed it in the proper folder and it booted up (with no errors)!

My specs, just in case:
