How to negotiate well?
Can someone give me a hint on how much I can ask for with the negotiations? They always decline my offer and I end up selling to their initial price. Does anyone have a rule, like about 20%?

I think they changed negotiation... a lot of the things people claim about it just don't work now. I'm not sure going over 50k euros over is even possible now.

What about when they complain that you didn't put in a TV, when the TV is RIGHT THERE....the complaints don't match what's actually in the house. I'm mystified. I put a TV right on the left wall as you come in, and the guy says, "No TV...demerits for you!" He also wanted a double bed -- in a house 32 sq meters -- less than 300sqft! There was barely enough room for a TWIN!

He also complained that there "wasn't any place for his magazines" when I put in a Kall bookcase as a room divider (took out a wall so the bookcase acts as an "open wall" to the bedroom area). There was plenty of room for his magazines, books, etc.

I tried negotiating with him because the place was stunning, despite its small size, but he refused so I, like the OP, had to accept his offer. I only asked for $5k more than he was offering ($48k).

I think the negotiation system is completely broken. What moron makes one offer and then stops trying to get a better price after 1 rejected offer? There should be a way to counter off to get a better price, instead of just having to cancel.

Admittedly, there are other bugs, like - outer walls vanishing, plumbing systems randomly moving around, ... I think the programmers need to pull out their vacuum and work on their game cause these bugs ruin an otherwise enjoyable game.

For me it seems to be how willing the buyer is to negotiate. I got a 50% boost off of one of the buyers a few days ago after hitting every point he wanted, but the Smoth family does not seem to negotiate very high (like no more than 10% or 20%?) It may also depend on how many points you hit that they like, but I do not know for certain.
