Game opens on the wrong monitor
I've got two monitors. My main 2560x1440 monitor is the primary monitor but every time I run Wolfenstein 2 after booting into Windows it opens on my tiny 1280x1024 secondary monitor. So I close it then start it again and this time it correctly opens on my primary monitor. Why?

You can give this a shot:
r_initialMonitor --> -1 = auto detect default monitor, >= 0 specific monitor index used to initialize the render system

Doesn't work.

Same problem. No matter what I do the game refuses to open on my larger monitor, whether it is set to primary or not. Even in Big Picture Mode it opens on the wrong monitor.

Other games work fine. :/

I have the same problem. I thought I couldn't get a display until I tried my monitor. I can't get it to work with my TV. Both are 1080p.

I managed to make it show up on the correct monitor. You have to adjust it inside of the game settings and select display 2 or whichever you are using.

Yep, the monitor settings are in the Video part of Options

Doesn't work either. My main screen is screen 1, and that's what it says in the games options. It still opens on the wrong screen untill I quit and reload and then it does open on the right one.

We can put a robot on Mars, but a screen on a second monitor...that's ridiculous :P

I have 2 monitors and they are both supposed to display the same screen but wolfenstein only displays on 1

So apparently Cyberpunk 2077 also does this. I don't have a second screen no more. Well it's in storage. I don't have the desk space since upgrading my PC sometime ago.

So this problem still exists I have 3 monitor setup and 2 are in portrait orientation and for some weird reason the game always chooses one of the two vertically mounted monitors but a very SIMPLE FIX is- as this game allows the monitor to the changed on the fly its just a matter of going into the 'video settings' and changing the monitor number there. Just one issue there is that the game comes on my main monitor when I select monitor no '3' but in windows settings my main monitor in no 1 so it has its own numbering I guess.
