I am so sick of this game. freezing and crashing randomly and game says GPU ran out of vram SOMEHOW

First of all i have a 3080 with a 5800X i should be able to run this game at max settings and still be over 200FPS. I did a benchmark on UBER settings and got 300fps avg. I have tried every fix on the internet. ( Checked game files, lowered settings to ULTRA, turned down Anti Aliasing, Turned off ASYNC Compute) i don't know what else to do. this game is not worth the whole modifying game files route.

The Vram is a driver bug that's been there a while and you just click, ignore and play on. I've read that locking your FPS to the monitor's refresh rate has helped some folks with freezing.

The only other thing you could try is to format and reinstall windows 10 (version 20H2) and install the game and nothing else and see. This for me would be a last resort to get it going.
