Max's Toy side mission not working in Roswell Downtown

I have collected all of Max's other toys, but for some reason, the Roswell Downtown side mission doesn't work. I have found the toy and broken the glass, but I can't pick up the toy. When I look at the journal, the Max's toys side mission isn't listed as it were on all the other Überkommando missions.

I have tried searching around, but nobody else seems to have encountered this issue (or my Google Fu just isn't up to scratch).

Does anyone have any ideas about this? Poor Max needs all his toys!

I figured this out after playing through the game a second time (and playing this mission five or six times):

The toy store has two windows with baseball bats. One is on the street where you spawn in, the other on the street where the Citadel walker is patrolling. The window with the toy for Max is on the street being patrolled by the walker.
