Can you replay story missions/levels/chapters?

I'm still learning the ins and outs of this game and from my searching quite a few people said you can't replay story missions.

Can anyone please clarify? is it like Far Cry 3 or something? if you complete the main story its done and you can't replay like you could in the new order?

No you can't replay the main story all you can do is individual Uberkommandant missions that give you the opportunity to pick-up missed collectables on those levels.

yeah, that was one of my favourite aspects of the previous games. I could just go back and pick up missed collectables without having to replay the whole game multiple times. Go back and do bits of the game I especially enjoyed. Oh no! I missed to pick up the weapon upgrade, or a bit of gold, never mind now I'll just replay the entire game??? So stupid they took it out. Makes me a little annoyed.

You don't have to start from scratch you can just go to the war table and select the area you missed your collectables.

Just that you can't replay story missions.

you cannot replay first story mission(in the chair) from war table, but there are collectibles. So i should restart the whole game and i do not sure, is my overall progress saved?

You can just go to the war table and select Eav's Hammer the area in the first mission should be available for you to retrace your steps and collect.

main game missions no but dlc levels yes
you can kinda replay main levels too if you do saves when each level starts but its not perfect the save slots fill up fast
