The writing sounds like they had no idea what to do with the character, so they just made him high all the time. Very disappointing so far compared to Fergus, who is also downright hilarious on top of... Not being stoned.
can't really blame him for witnessing the death of his friends from this game as well as "The New Order"
But I can blame anyone that would choose him over Fergus.
Wyatt is in both games though. I'm sure the snowflakes who don't understand how to win wars would still chose Wyatt.
Your insight resulted in you realizing you mad a bad choice.
That said, I've got to make myself play both games with Wyatt to experience the differences. I'm, uh... re-excited by your "His ending is 10x better than the Fergus one." Hmm...
:)
Fergus is a seasoned vet. In War you need the guy with experience over the Nub. Plus Wyatt has a crazy problem.
Had Wyatt been as well written through the main story as the end, he would have been a great character in TNC because he was a surprising asset in New Order.
I think that as had been suggested that if his hallucinations were visually added in, he could have been actually funny, but instead it was like every annoying druggie in TV/movies who are a babbling dimwit who is too high to be of any use. That alone made Fergus far more enjoyable in this game, and his overall writing and interactions were well executed.
The "door knob" tease was just another variation of the Fergus teaser, albeit with more detail, but it still dropped off for W3.
