Recommended Difficulty?

I beat The New Order on Bring em' on and found it to be a fairly balanced experienced, but people are saying this game is hard even on Don't Hurt Me.

There are some areas (I encountered two) where I simply HAD to turn down the difficulty to get past the area. Otherwise, I've played on Do or die! and it's been good. You can save at any time, which makes the game easier.

The suggestions of the game about difficulty are pretty accurate: based in order, Bring 'em on could be a normal setting to rush trough if you're a veteran FPS player, but it's more like that. It's like a moderately hard experience that let's you grasp the fundamentals of the game while trying to keep a challenge. It's the right difficulty for veterans that want their first playtrough to flow instead of checkpoint-a-lot.
