If you do it right, you can get 2 enigma codes per run in less than 2 minutes.
First commander is sitting on a chair, right below your starting location and the second one will always be at the "basement" of the penthouse. Killing the commander and the nazis using a pistol with a silencer (headshot) is easier than starting a big fight. When you get down to the basement, however, you can kill the super-soldier-thing carrying a heavy weapon without relying on stealth if you want. Near him, will be the 2nd commander, at the opposite direction from where you fell down to reach this area.
This map has an advantage: It's small. So you can find both commanders fast and repeat the mission as much as you like.
Thank you very much. I remember this map quite well, since I did play this mission already. Seems like a quick way to farm the remaining Enigma codes I need.
Another good hint is to save game just before sitting the Enigma Chair, this means that if you fail to solve a code you can restart from that point and you don't lose any codes that you have collected.
Thanks for your suggestion as well, I apreciate it. I will use both these maps for the remaining Enigma codes, only 2 missions on Venus to unlock, not too many codes to find.
I don´t lose Enigma codes, simply because if I feel like I won´t solve the "riddle", I press esc and start again, preventing me from losing any.
I know the feeling. The Enigma riddles, like everything else in this game (for me that is) is very immersive, would be easy to lose Enigma codes in that way. I feel you mate. Makes me glad you also learned something new, perhaps use that "trick" for a next playthrough.
Thanks again for such positive advice.
Trying to complete all side missions for assassination of high ranked Nazi commanders?
As it was already mentioned, you can collecting enigma codes from every commander you take down during the main story game play, then once you use those codes to decipher info about whereabouts of high ranked commander, visit that district multiple times to eliminate more commanders and collect more enigma codes.
