Same here, so far the best anyone can offer is that there is apparently no fix; I've been trying for two weeks and haven't got it to run yet.

Yeah games broken now. Played just fine for 45 minutes. Suddenly a random crash dump after dying and loading a save. Now anytime I try to start the game its a crash dump. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at work.
well shid that sucks, it look really fun

Try to start it in safe mode. Usually that works for me every time. Then i change the settings back to the max and restart the game and the error magically disappeared.

My best guess would be that it has something to do with the cloud saves or some weird writting in memory error.

Worst thing is, that this error can also appear while loading a savegame. If that happens to you, then it is a whole new dimension of dreadfulness. I'm currently having this issue while playing gunslinger joe episode 1. It's a huge level, took me so much time to get there and now i have to replay so much of it.

Same thing. Have done DDU to make sure the only GPU driver I have on this machine is the most recent (RX 5700 XT), have verified local files, have un- and re-installed the game, nothing. Every time I try to continue my in-progress game, it freezes on the load screen, and then quits out with the "unable to write crash dump" error.

Good thing I bought this ♥♥♥♥ on sale, then.

Are you also currently playing Joe Episode 1 by any chance ?

Just tried loading this game too, and I have the same issue. My computer specs are more than a match for this game so I do not understand at all why this wont launch. I contacted software developer and have received no response what-so-ever. I'm contacting Steam for a refund now....this shouldn't ever be allowed to be sold on Steam without software support.

Well, Errorcode 126 is a complete other issue. You can try to validate the files. Sometimes that's the easy solution for that.

But it can also indicate that there is something wrong with your graphic card.

I've just gotten the error recently. What's noticeable to me is that it ONLY so far appeared after I tried turning off Nvidia Adaptive Shading in the Advanced Settings and turning on Deferred Shading. Try turning on Adaptive Shading and turning off Deferred shading if you have it on and see if it helps.

Cloud saves was it for me. I've turned them off and now the game starts everytime without any problems.

I am having this issue with Joe episode 1. The base game worked great.. The DLC seems broken. I will disable cloud saves and try again.

Didn't work for me... I cannot get past the open streets part of this episode after using the mech hound and meeting the 5 armored guys with laser and rocket cannons.
