Pyramid in Area 52 map

In the mission where you're delivering a nuke to Area 52... When you ride the funicular up the long shaft, you can see a pyramid flashing with lightning inside the rocks as you ascend. Does anyone know what this is? Is it just background flavor details? I was able to jump off the rails onto an invisible wall they put in front of the entrance. I was not able to clip through or figure out noclip cheats. It looks like there's a cave behind the pyramid itself.

I want to noclip over there and see what's behind it. Any ideas how?

I barely remember this game, but i am curious so i googled it. Found this:"thegrok23
The pyramid is in the Area 52 level. There's an elevator to one side of the platform with the reactor that BJ puts the nuke into that takes you down to a walkway overlooking it.

I actually just found this on a recent replay. After placing the nuke inside die Glocke they send out this huge robot and a bunch of soldiers. I was able to stealth kill all of them, and then tampered the robot. When the robot blew up, more soldiers appeared and initially I didn't know here they came from, then I saw that after the robot blows up, they come up in the elevator. I was very excited to see that the elevator had a working button and was able to go down. But once you're down there, it's a disappointment. Not even a message to say hey you found a secret, good job."
