How the hell do you get down ladders in section F

I have been trying for ages to try and get down the ladder in section F. I have did everything that has already been posted on here on possible ways to do this but none have worked so far. Any help and suggestion are much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I played the entire game through without figuring out how to go down ladders. Going up seemed pretty automatic. He just grabbed on. But no matter where I stood, I could not get him to grab it to go down. Ended up jumping off. There are a lot more ladders you'll have to use before the game is over, so hopefully someone will reply with the technique. I'm still curious even though I'm done with the game.

There's probably a right way to climb down ladders but I couldn't find it either. What worked for me was to jump down while facing the ladder and then immedietly move BJ forward, towards the ladder. He then grabs on and can climb down the rest of the way.

I am stuck in Section F, I know at hit G key its show wich direction i need to go, I end up place where is pipe but i cant jump up and reach it, And distance is 20 meters to locker room.
