Massive bluetooth issues

So the game has been running terribly, but now I've found out what the source of the problem is. No fix, but I can say it's the bluetooth connection. Something's wrong there.

My new bluetooth headphones do not work with this game. They work with everything else, but here they're glitchy or have no sound.

Then, everytime I have a bluetooth XBOXONE controller going as well as the headphones, the game slows to a massive crawl.

There is a problem with the bluetooth and this game!!!

UPDATE: Game running smoothly now as long as I DON'T start with bluetooth headphones on.

Still, every loading of a game will force the sound to stop - I must re-connect bluetooth headphones to make the sound work again.

Make sure your bluetooth device is setup as the default in Control Panel. I set mine up in the Sound utility as the default audio and communication device. That may help with your problem!

I actually disabled all other sound options and definitely set up bluetooth as the default.

Odd problem! There is not too many audio settings in the game to tweak, and I am not sure what this is. Other suggestions I can think of would be to update your audio and bluetooth drivers. If you have a separate bluetooth adapter, try using that and disabling the one in your computer (Assuming you are using an internal one!). How old is your computer? Maybe your bluetooth adapter is older and for some reason has a problem with your new headset (BT 3.0 vs 4.0) and the audio configuration in the game. I know it is working on your other applications, and maybe I am grasping at straws here! I have an old Dell XPS 730x, and the internal bluetooth adapter stopped working correctly after a Win10 update, and I had to buy a new one. If you have an Nvidia graphics card, the driver updates normally install a digital audio driver. Maybe that has something to do with it. I hope some of this helps, but you have an intriguing problem!

no other drivers installed, no other unknown software and all my game work, but wolfenstei is not work on my 2 bt headphones.. i have sound, menu/save, no sound..

Tried the beta, tried updating and then reverting BT drivers - still nothing, and now the game randomly crashes ("could not write crash dump").

I'm on the "second phase" of the game and I'm just going to give up.

I am having the same problem with a BT headset on another game, UT 4. Works in Wolfenstein though. Another brand works OK. Must have something to do with how various brands of of these things talk to the computer.

I've found a solution so far: Open "Playback devices" and there will be two different devices for the BT headphones: headset and headphones. DISABLE the HEADSET (i.e. the cmmunication device, NOT the audio device). This so far makes things go better. Not sure how this affects the use of the BT overall, but so far this seems to be better.

mate, all games are worked fine so dont use solution from first page of google about "bt headset problem"

Tengo el mismo problema, al abrir el juego los auriculares bluetooth dejan de funcionar

Me pasaba eso, cuando entraba al juego se desactivaba la cancelación de ruido (como cuando se usa el microfono) y no se escuchaba nada.

La solución? Ir al panel de sonido, normalmente apareceran los auriculares 2 veces, en una pondrá "auriculares" y en la otra "auriculares con micrófono". Deshabilité la "auriculares con micrófono" y con eso ya funciona sin problema.
