I know where he is, but there's a little hatch you need to get through to reach him. Problem is you need to use that mine-firing-gun to open the hatch, and I'm currently out of ammo. Seems like there's nowhere on the sub to get ammo for that gun, so... am I screwed?

There is a recharge station in that same crawl-space, look around a bit more.

Lol since you are still playing.. you probably already found it.

Actually - I remembered there was one in the hangar near the helicopter.
