You shouldn't buy this game unless you want to support the anitfa nazis.
A few things to note:
- Enemies almost never can shoot you if you shoot them, particularly leg shots which will down them, making for a good head shot.
- hitting one enemy, staggering them, and then hitting the next can stall multiple opponents.
- keep moving. Enemies might be hitscan, but if you're constantly moving, sliding, and hitting cover, they won't get enough of a bead on you to kill.
- serpentine! Yes, zig zagging like a maniac has gotten me out of some of the most insane scrapes on Death Incarnate.
- Positioning is power. Never leave yourself standing still if another enemy can see you, especially if doing melee combat takedowns.
- suppressing fire! Yup, try shooting near an enemy and watch them cower or take cover. Use this to your advantage to keep them pinned down.
- peaking over cover can let you quickly dodge their opening fire, then peak from another angle to hit them.
- "Kill... All the Nazis." - The New Order
Really, just... Kill the scheisse out of them before they can get a shot off.
By the time you get most perks upgraded and 2 or all three contraptions towards the end, it starts to get easy no matter the difficulty, but that includes Death incarnate.
I don't know how they did the balance testing, but I have to wonder if they kept replaying from the end instead of completely restarting, as that would explain why (1) the first half feels like they did a pıss poor job at balancing the difficulty and pacing, and (2) why it seems like they forgot that you're stuck unable to skip so many drawn out conversations in the beginning half.
So you wouldn't try to play better? Do you find yourself giving up easily.
