Regarding Combat SImulations

How exactly are you supposed to get the higher scores? It's definitely not through gunning and running, which is a shame. Do I really have to play a game with fun shooting as a """"""""""stealth"""""""""" title to get those medals? Playing/played on Death Incarnate, by the way.

No, sorry. I still cannot even get a single gold, let alone a higher ranking.

Focus on special kills. Explosives, headshots, and stealth. Getting any special kill with stealth gets you the most points besides combos. You don't need combos to get to platinum badges, stealth coupled with special kills will get you there. Also, aggro the stages to get all the available reinforcements into the level.

Each stage seems to give you a unique load out that kind of hints at the most effective tactics for the stage.

On the first stage, make use of the microwave traps and distractions and you'll finish the level with a few thousand over Platinum goal.

I've just started these, and after experimenting on the first stage, I figured things out and got Death Incarnate platinum on the first two stages pretty easily. You have to play the stages a bit slow and patient to maximize your score.

Thanks for the info. It's a tad sad that I can't go guns blazing, but I'll give it a try for sure, those challenges were tough.

You can overcome stealth bonuses by getting combo kills in rapid succession... So you can totally do these challenges run and gun if you are precise and quick.
