I have updated to the latest drivers several times (AMD Radeon) and yet I still get this message. it says "required: 17.10.2, detected 0.0.0"

try using display driver uninstaller to completly remove old drivers, and use the link in the stickied thread

new AMD driver kills my fps i was using 17.6.2 which ran game great now i cant play anymore fps in the 20s using r9 290x help

RX480 here, downloaded 17.10.3 and fps is still fine. And crashing has gone away

Do you have Windows 10? Make sure you have the latest version of Windows before you update to latest Radeon drivers. Latest Windows is version 1709 - type in winver in search function to find out what Windows version you currently have.

that might be because you are using the minimum card

why shouldnt he? i am about to as well man. The game worked just fine for me until they updated it. I have win8.1 and my latest driver is 17.7.1. The game when i launch it asks for 17.10.2 at least. Where to get it? there is no 17.10.2 on WINDOWS8. I played the game for about 7 hours just fine with my R9 270 on medium settings. You tell me what should i do now? 17.10.2 is only for win7 and win10. Both AMD and Machine Games fail here, one broke the game, one doesn't release driver for win8....
