Does it matter if you kill the dog?
Does it change the story at all if you don't kill the dog at the start? I mis-aimed and the father ended up killing it.

No, as your Dad will kill the dog anyway. It's just an exagerrated scene to get you to hate your racist father.

And Aeloth13 gave GrenadeMagnet6 a few days, then a few more. Days turned to weeks, and he started to wonder if he would ever get the clarification that GrenadeMagnet6 offered.

I apologize, as, I just got out of jail today for punching nazis in real life, so I was delayed.

Aeloth13, I found out if you kill the dog then them game gives you the short ending, or lame ending if you will, but I don't think that's a secret.

What exactly changes about the story? I've played through with killing it and not killing it and I didn't see any difference.

It's a little complicated, since I finished the game a few times a while ago, to try the different endings.

Wait a bit and I'll go check my save-game files again...

Nazi's don't exist anymore, only wannabe nazi's, they were disbanded at the end of WW2. If you did see a real nazi, you should've either called the authorities to arrest them or killed them yourself wolfenstein-style, considering real Nazi's have been hunted down and jailed around the world for their atrocities ever since the end of WW2.
Or are you just talking about white supremacists? Or about right wingers/ conservatives? or just people you disagree with? Or just white straight males?
