PS4 Controller Testing

Been having major issues getting my ps4 controller to work with this game. un-ticking "Use steam configuration for non steam controllers," didnt helped so i've tested everything i could think to do. i've tested with both an old ps4 controller and the new type(with the front facing light strip). What i discovered is that the new type controller wont work in any config, bloodtooth and wired but the old type controllers would work but only wired. this is a real pain as i purchased the new controller inorder to enjoy this game with a non-fatigued controller. i would love to hear if anyone has got the new type ps4 controllers to work.

Uncheck all boxes within steam's Controller Options in Big Picture Mode, and try using DS4 Windows. It'll need to reinstall the controller drivers iirc, but i'm pretty sure that's automatic. Use a wired controller. In-game, the control scheme will be Xbox though, so beware.

Yeah, im pretty much giving up on it and using an off brand xbox one controller I have, which sucks!

It has native support go in steam options make sure xbox controller support is on turn of steam config for non steam controllers

The latest beta-brance update restores the Steam Overlay, that should do the trick.
