Yet another terrible port
Controller support, abysmal. Graphics optimization, abysmal. Already crashed once in 3 minutes of trying to play. Had to run compatability options to deal with scaling issues.

I'm running a standard 980 build, which isn't godlike, but I'm not trying to run max settings either. Not interested in you "I didn't have these problems reply."

You can tell just by reviewing graphics options that they intended the PC build to be superior, but someone in Q/A Dev. dropped the ball on DPI scaling, and the current drivers for both ATI and NVIDIA were not ready for Vulcan

Crashed three times, all during intro scenes, so far game is unplayable.

The abundance of options doesnt necessarily mean anything. They might have started the work, but they clearly didn't finish it. Pc feels almost completely like an afterthought.

finished the game 14 hours, had 1 crash. got 280fps was actually to high so ended up capping it to 120. graphic options are way more than needed. Why use a controller on a pcgame..
devon_rex_unreal Oct 28, 2017 @ 11:17am
installed the 388.10.. idk if this fixes anything for me as i have not played it without this driver version.

Gtx1070
i7-4790k
32gb ram 2133mhz
installed on a samsung 850 pro ssd.

Game runs perfect with every setting cranked up to max in 1440p with res scaling set to adaptive.

The idtech 6 is amazing and is so much better than the previous id engine used in new order.

This is NOT a lame pc port, it is a great version of the game and it is def better than the console versions =)

388.10 is still in beta so you won't find it in normal driver update. if you used GE to update with you will still be on 388.00

Imma just keep the conversation going past the "eh it runs great" stupid ♥♥♥♥.

So far the controls are even funky. I'm pressing crouch and getting an odd mix between sometimes crouching and sometimes jumping. How the ♥♥♥♥?

What's next, somebody opining about the lack of pc kinect support?

Don't forget the campaign literally consists of 1-4 hours of actual gameplay and the rest is padded with long cutscenes for a boring and bad story. The political agenda pushing leftist beliefs to trigger the right is just icing on the cake.
