Thanks man. It's just really hard to get headshots while holding the right key, or to shoot in general lol.
Who made this game? Some students powered by ramen noodles or a multi billion euro company?
New Order was released on consoles, too. And the the feature was included.
No, this is about a programmer forgetting to add it, because that programmer likely plays with a controller. Simple.
The reason it doesn't have it is the same reason that Doom doesn't have toggle crouch. It would be suicide in most situations, on anything other than the very easiest difficulty because of the way the game is designed. Limiting your mobility when fighting hitscan enemies is not conducive to winning.
Toggle sights is useful in modern military bollocks shooters, to be sure, but seldom useful in faster experiences.
I mean, I'm all for more options, so I'll +1 this, but all it's going to do is invoke more "gaem is 2 hard lulz" posts from people trying to play Death Incarnate with toggled sights.
Not sure? You realize there's like 30-40 more available keys on a keyboard, don't you?
Now you know why a missing feature means it's made for controllers.
Also... doesn't really matter what you like/dislike when you're discussing options.
Did you not read the last paragraph you quoted?
Wait, let me answer that for you.
No, you didn't.
I'll repeat it, +1 for the option, -1 for the idiots who are going to post about how uselessly hard the game is when they use it.
Dumbest thing I've ever read.
"All it's going to do is invoke more..." Who cares? Those statements would clearly be idiotic, and any devs reading wouldn't give them a 2nd look, ESPECIALLY considering this is about adding options, not difficulty levels (which you can SET in the menu ffs)
And YES both were a default in-game option in TNO. They were clearly labeled in the Game Options menu.
Well, considering the toggle would be located in the game options screen (like in TNO), you're right. It wouldn't matter in terms of number of in-game keys. My bad. The point was about controller design layout vs keyboard design having less options in general, and how they "forgot" to add this option when it was present in the last game might have had something to do with a minimal vs expanded design approach to game controls.
