what is "could not write crash dump"

Whenever I try to open the game. it says "could not write crash dump"

I have updated to 388.10 and all other things perfectly work. I am just confused that why the officuals don't do anything to fix this problem since so many poeple are facing the same questions.

Do they even read the comments for god's sake

Tried the newest Nvidia drivers and rolled back to the last 2 drivers,
no difference,
Once I change resolution to 1440p and hit apply it locks up.

Yep, I am really wondering how it would take for them to fix this problem

I'm getting the issue as well, I heard the reason was that apparently they gave the incorrect package to the asia region, which causes people to only download 14 gb, when the actual full game is 41 gb. So if you only downloaded 14 gigs or so then that might be your issue, I don't know a fix to that though.

I have the same problem. I tryed to uninstall and then reinstall the last Nvidia driver, to optimize my games, but nothing works. I saw the folder was check " read only " and that I couldn't change it. So, I am waiting for an update ...

Yep, I heard that issue so I re-download it for several times. Though now my game is about 44 gb, the issue is still the same so I am becoming more and more confused now.

It means the function that writes the crash dump couldn't write the file.

I have the same problem. I have waited for this game since it was first leaked. Now its finally out and i cant even play it.

Same issue, tried with 388.0 and clean install of 388.10 no luck. Hopefully get a patch by monday.
