[SOLVED]Vulkan-1.dll missing??

In the title, cant run the game. Why i dont have it, or should i have it? Im intel/nvidia guy, windows 7. Google shows stuff for DOOM, but i didnt have problem there before reinstalling windows, didnt play again since so i dont know. What is the proper way to get it? Didnt find Vulkan in CommonRedist

It's a dll that you should already have, You will not simply find it there so have your tried running the installers located in CommonRedist ?

Yes i did install directx from there, the VC i already had installed for that version

Have you updated your graphics drivers ? the dll should come with them

I had, but the newest version regards only an update for two games, non of them w2, but i isntalled it anyway. DOOM runed on older version of driver for sure and there was no problem.. it must be the same vulkan framework they use. I dont think it comes specially with latest driver

Try a nvidia driver update if you haven't already.
If that doesn't solve it, there should be a install executable in the driver package. (Not sure if that works if you're using geforce experience or whatever to update the driver, just download it from the nvidia page like you would back in.. I don't know.. 2010! Barbarian!)

The Vulkan install executable should be in C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\388.10\Win10_64\International\Display.Driver
Called "VulkanRT-Installer"

..Granted, if that's where you extracted the driver package, but that should be default. (388.10 being the driver version, exchange it for whatever you download I guess.)

Yep, i had three driver updates since last windows install, not one im sure finished properly because vulcan wasnt installed. Clean reinstall with DDU fixed it. I hereby acknowledge that nvidias drive installing/updating is a pain too. Safe mode from now on for updates

No, no separate dll download and copy, many times virus trap, thats stupid. Proper install with package that includes it.

I have the same problem but I got AMD Radeon 6900 all up to date and i cant find a solution. My PC is definitely not the problem. Please help

completely uninstall the driver using DDU.. then install latest driver
