Black screen with sound. Another failed pre-order :/; FIXED :D!
So here's my rig:
GTX 1070
i7 6700K
16GB DDR4 RAM
Windows 7 SP1 64bit

Game launches, after a few seconds I get the Bethesda intro, the MachineGames intro and then black screen. I can here the sound of options moving, when I press either "B" on the controller or Escape on keyboard I see the in-game window asking if I want to quit the game. Otherwise everything is black screen :x.

Why am I still pre-ordering PC games anyway? I spend a TON of money on that setup couple of months back after putting my hard earned money for over a year just to be greeted by black screen when attempting to play the game that I simply couldn't wait to finally play.

PC master race, yeah, sure :x... at least it starts as it should on consoles.

Edit:
Ok, so I went with the extreme solution and bought Windows 10 Pro. Game starts and works like a charm :D!
Who knows maybe Windows 7 simply has issues with running newest games. After all it's pretty old and soon devs will probably drop support for it like they did to Vista at some point. Not mentioning that I'll be able to check out DirectX12... once it'll become more common in games as right now barely any game uses it.

Thanks again for all the suggestions people ;)!

My PC was restarted after installation and I have the lastest Nvidia driver which has performance upgrades for Destiny 2 and AC: Origins.
PS. What hotfix are you talking about? Is it for the game or the GPU?

for the game, and a lot of people played around with different drivers to see which one got the game up and running, you could maybe try that if the hotfix doesn't work.

Sorry, I'm just missing some stuff when I'm pi**ed off at something, and this black screen really made me angry.
As soon as I install it and check if the game works I'll post in here.
Thanks again for the possible solution guys. Really appreciate it :)!

Ok, now the game doesn't even start :(. All I'm getting after starting it after around 10 seconds is:
Steam Error:
Application load error S:0000065432

Holy you know what! So much for enjoying Wolfenstein II :x.

if it still doesn't work, revert to previous drivers. Because for me, the game works fine without any hotfixes, but I did update to latest nvidia driver though. Also check to see if your game is running with your onboard cards or dedicated. Check in device manager.

I only got one GPU. The game gave me black screen with the latest official driver like I've wrote before, and the hotfix made it so it gives me this error. Geez, I should've bought it for my PS4, at least I could play it. This is what you get after spending a ton of cash on gaming PC.

Oh well, I'll try installing the 388.00 driver again then. I got nothing to lose and probably nothing to gain anyway xD.
