The audio mixing is pretty bad
The voice and the guns sound does not match voice are a lot higher then they should, and even if you change the settings in the audio options, the cutscene are still very loud in comparison and I always need to turn up and down the sound :Miller: am I the only one experiencing this ?

Are the cutscenes pre-rendered? If they are that might explain why there's such a difference.

Maybe they messed up the stereo mix in the PC version or something. That has happened in a bunch of PC ports in the past, where 5.1 & 7.1 sounds correct, but the 2 channel mix is a broken mess. I can't get the game to work, so can't confirm this myself. Maybe one day!

Sound levels sometimes differ a bit if cutscenes are pre-rendered, since they're not always mixed with the same output as in-game.

This time you can pick dynamic range like TV & Cinema (default is Cinema). Seems careless of the devs if pre-rendered cutscenes use the narrow TV dynamic range and have their volume pumped up, whereas the game itself is like 10db quieter or something with Cinema dynamics.

some audio channels are really low and others are normal.

This is perhaps some of the worst audio I have experianced.

Yup, the gun sounds are feeble.

+1
no matter what settings I use...
Seems the dynamic range is somewhat buggy ;(

Same here. I tried a few things but realized it was built into the game's sound mixing. Pretty sloppy they overlooked this, unless the entire MachineGames team are hard-of-hearing.

Mine is already set to that, with no option for 7.1 :awswremy:

I agree. Shooting sounds are low and terrible.

People elsewhere are saying that changing the sample rate in their PC audio settings fixed this for them, guns sound much better now, etc.
