Goto Steam folder on Drive C
Look for SteamOverlayVulkanLayer64.dll
Back it up and save it...
Now delete the orginal one and reboot Steam and or Comnputer...
Now when the reboot is complete it will redownload the file and for some of you this will be fixed..
This removes the need for the uninstall and Reinstall Steam Solution...
If this works for anyone with / without nVidia / AND AMD Video cards
Post back so others will know..
Same happened to me.
Had no issues. Updated the game and drivers...crash dump.
Not playing since.
I ALSO NOTICED it happens when finding collectables!??!
the dlc campaign worked until shortly after the panzerhund level of the first volume. After
that the save game wouldn´t load anymore and constantly crash. Tried out some things
mentioned here but nothing worked. Then I rememberd that there were some similar issues
with Doom and the virtual texturing page size on Nightmare so I changed the image
streaming settings from Über to Ultra and that instantly fixed the issue for me and it was
possible to continue with the crashing savegame. Maybe that helps some of you guys! :)
