It's not open world, and has never been advertised as such.

It's a linear shooter like Half Life but there are optional levels you can go on. But no, it's not open world (thank christ!).

If you have played any call of duty single player then you will know what it is like.
Highly advize you to pick up return to castle wolfenstein for proper gameplay and good hard campaign.

I agree completely. I just want to run, slide, sprint and gun through a fun and hefty campaign.
Just me and the devs, fighting it out.
