Patrick... Coffee... what am I doing wrong here?

So I tried giving him the coffee to sober him up to get his phone... the goal being to eventually get Vickie... and he wont drink it. I searched up a walkthrough, it said to use the kettle and stove with the coffee, pour it into the empty cup, give to Patrick, and it still didnt work. What am I missing? I feel stupid! Getting Vickie has been very frustrating :/

When you give him the coffee at first, he'll refuse it because he doesn't want to lose his buzz. You just need to tell him that it's "Irish Coffee" after this and he'll accept it.

Dude Im telling you, I tried over and over. I never could get that part to come up. I think I messed something up with another questline or something like that earlier in the game. Idk if its a bug possibly but after chatting with someone in Discord who was very experienced with HP, they thought I musta just messed something up earlier in the game, so I just started a new playthrough

So, I have a scenario in the game that I've seen nowhere online, and it's not in this walkthrough either. It seems like the game is entirely softlocked now, and I literally have to just delete this savestate now (luckily I had one not too far behind it from the same playthrough) but I still wanted to share this. I gave patrick the thermos that was spiked, and somehow, the gazebo stuff with the ring and the bj is happening in madisons room. When I went in there, rachel and patrick are in the closet. he is naked laying drunk, the ring is on him, you cant take it, you cant talk to patrick or rachel and get anywhere, and you cant use any items on either of them. Now, Is this scenario in this walkthrough anywhere?
Has anyone else ever played through the game and had this happen? I figured I'd at least share this even if i have to restart, nothing ive read says this is EVEN SUPPOSED TO EXIST IN THE GAME!

Yeah, I get it. A lot of strange stuff can happen that shouldn't. I'm familiar soft-locking out of opportunities because the game isn't scripted perfectly yet. But I will say that it seems to be getting a lot better with every update.

I do have the save file yes. But I figured out what was wrong, one of the discord moderators told me that it was changed so now it can take place in 3 places, and we figured out that in order to continue, I had to close the doors. It was hard to figure that out because Lety and Rachel are both standing right on top of the closet doors so, I just didn't think of that. Even the 0.21 guide didnt have anything about this so it must be brand new for 0.21.1!
